Founder's Story

​Alex's passion for real estate was sparked early in life, growing up immersed in the industry. With a goal to develop his own properties but starting without capital, he became a licensed real estate broker in Tennessee, Alabama, and Florida, where he handled diverse transactions, including land development, active care living facility conversions, multi-family, single-family, and luxury residential projects.

In 2018, Alex secured a landmark achievement as the procuring cause for the Costco deal in the West Point development off I-24 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, working with a leading Nashville developer and contractor, showcasing his expertise in high-profile land deals.

That same year, with growing capital and a shift toward independent projects, Alex founded Alpine Development, a self-funded firm focusing on transactions in the Nashville, Tampa and Huntsville, Alabama markets.

 

In addition to managing Alpine's internal affairs Alex supports clients and colleagues on a case by case basis with assistance in matters such as:, creative financing, 1031 exchanges, reverse 1031 exchanges, IRA/ 401k financed development projects, zoning/ entitlements, and strategic partnership structuring for joint ventures, as detailed on the services page.

 

Outside of Alpine and its Developments, Alex is involved in a number of  joint ventures and private equity deals involved in various businesses outside of the real estate industry which he considers his most rewarding hobbies outside of work itself.
